How to ask us to delete your data
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
If you messaged a business that uses SixFlow on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, that business is the controller of your data and SixFlow stores it on its behalf. If you requested a demo on sixflow.co or you’re a SixFlow client, the controller is Six Art Media. Either way, you can ask us directly to delete it.
How to request it
- Email us at [email protected] from your email address, with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Tell us the name of the business you messaged and your WhatsApp number, Instagram username or Facebook name. If you requested a demo, your name and WhatsApp number.
- If needed, we’ll ask for one detail to confirm it’s you. That way nobody can delete someone else’s data.
What we delete
- Your conversations and the files you sent (photos, voice notes, documents).
- Any of your comments we stored.
- Your contact details: name, number, username and Meta identifier.
- The source of your chat (which ad or channel you came from).
If a law requires us to keep something (for example, an invoice or purchase data the business must keep for accounting), we’ll tell you what and for how long. Backups are deleted automatically within 30 days at most.
How long it takes
We do it within 15 business days at most from receiving your complete request, as required by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, and we confirm by email when it’s done.
If you’re a business: remove SixFlow’s permission on Facebook or Instagram
Besides emailing us, you can remove SixFlow’s access to your accounts at any time:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or “Apps and websites”) → choose the SixFlow app → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → Active → choose the SixFlow app → Remove.
- In SixFlow: Settings → Channels → Disconnect.
When you remove the app, Meta notifies us and we immediately delete the stored access permission and the stored comments for your accounts. Meta shows you a confirmation code; with it you can check the status of your request at app.sixflow.co/api/meta/borrar-datos?codigo=YOUR-CODE. If you also want us to delete your customers’ conversations left in the chat inbox, email us at [email protected] with that code.
